Update

So this week has been really busy--I posted a casting call on model mayhem for models, and the response was actually quite overwhelming (you can see the casting call and some of the responses here: http://www.modelmayhem.com/casting/1229313

I've been spending a lot of my free time responding to models and making arrangements for my photo shoot. I have had to reschedule my shoot to November 5 & 6 from the original date of Oct 1 & 2. I have arranged for several models and a hair stylist, in addition to friends and family who will be assisting me with lighting and carrying photo gear. I also arranged to go on a photo-location scouting trip to New Orleans Saturday. Answering these replies and arranging my shoot has left me with almost no time to consider the brand logo and slogan, but I have been thinking about my target audience, and researching.

This photo shoot concept has been really popular with the models on model mayhem, all but one of who are in my target age range of 16-30. I have decided to use this response to the shoot as part of my research, because the idea did appeal to them, and I believe it would appeal to other women similar to these. I believe that my target group would include creative and quirky women, as well as those with an interest in theatre and drama. I believe this brand would interest those looking to add drama and fantasy into their lives.

I don't yet have a brand name or slogan, but I hope to be inspired by my trip to NOLA. I will post photos from my scouting trip and my impressions/thoughts of the shooting locations.
